Artist John Koehler will be submitting new artwork to the FOCAL LOCAL show at the Virginia Beach Art Center.
“First Landing” is a depiction of a Lady Pirate surfing at Cape Henry. The problem of course is that she is surrounded by modern elements. But the turtle, shark and dolphin don’t care.
“The Sea Witch” is a bit more on the darker side of art. First named HMS Bounty, this piece was renamed after the addition of the pelican wings.
